No progress other than to find out the weldements I bought to bolt the mirrors to are a joke. I should have built them myself like I had originally planned. There is no need to make a mirror bracket that welds to a sheetmetal door out of 3/16 plate ...that's $$$ I can't get back. I just want to barf as I really wanted to have something to show for my time and lack of needed sleep.

So you're saying the plate is too thick?
If you think about it, having those giant chevy mirrors sticking out there in 80mph+ wind are going to create a lot of torque on those little plates. I would think they need to be pretty thick. You might could bevel the edges that contact your door so the plate sits more flush with the door skin.

Yeah, wtf is that bs? I had a lot of pictures on there. I hope they realize everyone is just going to move some where else with free 3rd party picture hosting.

There for awhile I couldn't get any pics from a website to post on here. So I just started posting pics directly from my phone. Been awhile since I've done it but it can be done. And on the plus side, it'll always be here. If you delete your pic off photobucket, it'll delete it off FTE too
