Dent sides on 31's to 34's

Yes. For the purposes of this thread, it was an F150 with Rancho 3" coils. In reality, I converted my 2wd to 4wd using F150 parts, but added 8 lug outers to keep the same wheels as when it was 2wd.

Thanks. guys for all the kind words yeah this is a 79 and yeah has the earlier side badging when I got this truck it was originally a ostrich Ranch truck and so is all original have the big truck original trailering mirrors that hung down quite a bit at some point somebody must have hung on it and so it created a somewhat of a dent on the top portion of the sill ththe that's what the side markers are trying to hide but two holes that held that mirror and we're on the sill are covered up by the other one that happen to fall right into the holes and I said you know what this looks better than the holes and dent it was on there at some point I will probably have the truck painted right now it has a really cool survivor look to it that everybody seems to like so I'm just leaving at it as is there still two holes that are on the lower portion two legs from the other mirrors I was thinking about maybe a chrome strip or something just to hide those for right now those don't have a dent in it but it just kind of tutors from it yeah I didn't know whether there was too much badging with with those on there I need to really take out some point if I do leave those on there I'll probably convert those said that they actually I have a functioning LED light on them like I've seen one of the other members on the board has on his at and I'll convert the lens to white or clear like the rest of my lenses on the truck as well and just use an amber bulb use it kinda like as a courtesy lights / side marker on there as far as the getting back to topic as far as a suspension this truck originally like I said had a rake to it the front problem with hung down probably a good 2" and a half inches lower than the back and so it had a full of the right to it that most of these truck came stock in the factory with mine is a two wheel drive remember so that its already low to begin with and a four wheel drive trucks are what I had to do as I basically you searched all the catalogs to find out what the ride height and weight a caring capabilities of different springs were I finally came up with a source that was an early eighties e350 van coils heavy duty foil the van itself would have had a diesel motor and it's not the 4 wheel drive but it would have been a 2wd drive van but it had the diesel so it had to have a higher capacity up in the front for the holdup that big motor so these coils are actually thicker and if they're taller of course I gained three and a half inches from it so not quite 4 inches and I'm running 33/12.50/16.5'S is what I'm using on this thing at this time and rides really niceand the only complaint that I have is trying to find a shock that will work harder and shock anyway I was really thinking somewhere along the lines of a king or sway away I raced runner shock but the length of the problem with these things BC even with the taller heavy duty package that this does have as the height of the taller shock towers at the shocks are still I am had to use stock shocks on this thing might be one size over or something like that and this still the only 2 inches about their travel which is definitely not enough but the stock ones were actually way too short and they wouldn't even read shop the mounting holes on it so I'm kind of stuck in a hard spot here because I need better socks but there just isn't anything available unless I decide to really cut out the shock towers or something like that and maybe go with my custom made poop switch that's not a problem but I really want to try to keep this thing almost as stock as possible with. Correct pieces but we'll have to see what happens in materializes in the future hopefully this is of help there was a good write-up on this thing out while I was working on it and also we doing the brakes and going with that what was non-existent drilled and slotted rotors for this thing as well since this is an F 250 so its got the heavier duty stuff in the dual caliper pistons on it so they didn't have those that I found somebody who made some up and she still has a small stock my buddies interested but that's besides the point ultimately there really isn't 4" kit for the two wheel drive ones are you just have to have to make it and I didn't feel like going with the autofab kit.when the fact I think it's not fast checked with the other one that's a lot of fa these things if anybody is interested I just couldn't see spending that amount of money for what they gave you I made everything work for what I've got in there like I said the only thing is the longer shocks I did have the beans bent that then cost very much like a hundred ten bucks so I'm very pleased like I said before I have no adverse characteristics without without having to have it the arms length into on this thing at this point since I got properly tuned. Sorry for the voice recognition dictation.

I put it on the temporarily hide the additional holes of the original low tow mirrors. Managed to also dent the edge from someone probably hanging on and applying weight to it. When I repaint I may remove all the other badging and leave these on instead. I am going to convert the reflector into and amber LED to works as a turn signal as well like some newer vehicles..we are working on the sons 75 single cab shortbed Explorer 4x4. Installed a 2" lift and donor sway bars from a 79. Need to shmooze the front discs of him toO and if $$$ allows the most of the A/C parts.
