My goal is to work till 50 and retire.....My plans rarely work out lol
Our first show is north of us up past bear lake this winter, that is a snow belt area, and they can realistically get 30 feet in a winter up there, so should be interesting.
My whole family is in the industry.
My sister runs road grader..........youngest brother is a hand faller.........and other brother is a self employed mobile repair man, that 99% of the time is out in the bush repairing equipment with his mobile service truck. I do the day to day servicing on whatever I am running........and sometimes extra work in the shop or yard at freeze/breakup seasons. I can sort of weld (no tickets) and sort of wrench okay.
Good at replacing normal wear items, like hydraulic hoses, chains and such.
Yeah, that has to be a brutal stretch! I'm working on retiring in 10 years (58), but we'll see how that plays out.

I have it easy compared to you. 3 day workweek at 12 hrs. per. I wrench and weld on my stuff. Spend some time at the local wrecker helping the old fella out. I think he likes the company more than anything else. This makes my parts bill small cause it's normally if I need something I can have it. I have keys to the place which is nice.
