Pretty much a nine-to-five job today. Rearend installed, new brake lines in place, drive shaft installed, wheels back on the ground and the truck rolled out of the garage for the first time in 3 weeks.
One issue so far - small leak on left side brake line at the block. Was too late in the day to repair. Hopefully just needs to be tightened up some more.

More or less complete

Resolved the brake line leak Sunday touched up a couple of scratches from the install and rust bucket rides again. Albeit a smother ride, it seems. I am going to check with a couple of shops today and see about finding someone to replace the pinion seal. Curious as to how many hours that calls for in "the book."

Note gremlin bell under left shock mount. Applying some motorcycle voodoo to my truck.

Wow, looks good. See if your co-worker can help you. If he builds dragsters he probably knows ford 9" rears.

Glad you got the bearing out. I had problems years ago getting some axles out. A farmer said to bolt a big chain to the lugs and snap the chain. It pulled it out fairly quickly.
