What's your username mean?

Well I just bought a 95 f150 for 600 dollars and drove it home. It is a rough farm truck, but seems pretty solid. Drove maybe 15-20 miles getting it home and didn't have much problems. I am pretty proud of the deal I got. I use another user name on most of the boards I participate on, but this seemed to call for something special to celebrate the deal.

My Dad thought that older vehicles should be restored, not modified with newer/bigger/more powerful parts.
I think that older vehicles should be modified with newer/bigger/more powerful parts.
He called my thinking "sick and wrong" (mostly joking)
When I needed a username for forums about trucks I happened to think of that.

My first truck was called cherrybomb because when i first got it the old fart ( original owner he was 87 ) i bought it from thought it was cool to have a 1"x6 cherrybomb sticker on the drivers side bottom back glass haha and 37 is short for 1937 which was the year my late grandpa was born in, the number has always fallowed me good and bad so hey ill use it.

I liked the sticker that came with my 94 F-250. It was on the back window and looked like an alarm company logo, but had a picture of a handgun and said "Protected By Second Amendment Security" on it. I left it on there for as long as I owned the truck.

User name
I would think my user name would be fairly obvious. At the time I settled on it, I had been an employee of Ford Motor Co. for 35 years. I had worked at 3 different dealerships in that time. First one was just learning my trade, second was as the shop foreman for 19 years and the last a lead tech. So all the younger guys looked at me as an oldtimer around the cars, and I had been working on them for 35 years. Five years later, I retired after a serious accident that left me doing rehab for almost 8 months as I learned to walk again. I look back on my days in the shop and would not trade it for anything. I really enjoy working on cars.

Mine.......78PEB .........My F150 4x4 is an orange '78 .......I nicknamed the truck "Pebbles" as in Pebbles Flintstone because she is such a cute little carrot top. I also use another username on some other forums..........rustywrench........because that's what I am........an old broke down mechanic.......26 years of being a heavy equipment/truck field mechanic will do that to you LOL

Well, I thought NotEnoughTrucks would be pretty clever as it is a question my wife always seems to bring up. Turns out the name was already registered here, but not in active use, so I added 2014. Maybe the admins could free up the other name? I would take it in a heartbeat!

By the way, I probably own around 20 Ford trucks between 1938 and 2003. Fortunately have storage for them in an area referred to as my field of dreams. Some are parts trucks, some projects and a handful are usable.
