I am sure it will Steve. Thats why I brought my jacket with me today. Supposed to be another warm humid day with storms tomorrow.

 

Got sidetracked with my daughter and her crew.. Had to get dinner done..

 

It happens Steve. Sometimes the family and supper is more important.

 

It was a great supper.. Chicken and green chili enchiladas, cheesy rice and beans.. And brownies with walnuts and ice cream for dessert

 

Sounds good Steve. I had leftover tacos again tonight with no dessert.

 

It was a break from the burgers I had been eating..

 

That is always a good thing. The tacos were different for me this week. Needed something a bit different. Also have all the headaches for next weekend happening this week. They are starting to put stuff into effect Defender's Day weekend events. I have heard even the Prez will be in town.

yes it is. Because of it all of the local reenactors are not going to the main event if you will. They said in the invites that were sent out that once your on property next thursday you cant leave until monday. Not everyone can dedicate that much time to stay in our own backyard. My thought for not going was why sleep on the ground there when I can sleep at home in my regular bed that is only 15 minutes away.

Friday night and no work. How did that happen?

 

Only the officers would have that Steve. Us grunts would just use a mattress tick. Pretty much a large sheet folded in half length wise and then the one side and one end sewn shut. Then fill it with straw. There is your mattress.
