I’ve read somewhere that you can’t put a car engine in a truck because of the front sump pan. We’re talking y blocks here. I have a car engine in my ‘54.

On a large enough bump say abuse..... the car pan may come in contact with the front axle. Definitely more prone to this in a f100 due to the smaller springs and less clearance

I have been preoccupied for around 6 months and am now just catching up with you build. Your truck is looking awesome and you are making great progress. Keep up the good work.

Well, after much hand wringing and many sleepless nights, I decided to put the clearance lights back on. The previous owner welded the holes shut.

Good decision! A bigger truck needs big boy lights!

Are those the lights that came with the truck? What brand are they?

The lights came with the truck. I don’t remember seeing any name on them.

looks great. So there were only three? Anyway to post the distance from the windshield to the front of the center light and the distance between them?
