my friend is about to get a new truck and his dad wants him to get a 6 cylinder because it is cheaper to insure. he went online to see if ford makes a 03 4x4 6 cylinder he doesnt think they do. he wants a v8 but he cant say anything because his dad is buying it so thats why he is gettting a 6 cylinder. his dad doesnt believe that ford only makes v8 4x4 so if u could clear this up that would help.

p.s. he is getting an 03(so does ford make an 03 6cylinder 4x4)

Any '03 4x4 with a 6-cylinder? There is the Escape, Ranger, Explorer, and F-150. All of those '03 Fords have 4x4 and 6-cylinder options.

 

Base engine in the F-150's is a 4.2 V-6.
