Evening Neil! I think the rain sticks from earlier took a turn towards me! The Chicago suburbs are getting a good storm!

We received 1 1/2" earlier Tom and has just started up again. Haven't seen rain in 3 or 4 weeks.

It's been spotty all week and there was a chance of rain all last week and nothing! Today was a 10% chance... Go figure! Lol I got the last coat of paint on my trailer and the rain started.

Friday night around dinner time we got 2-3.5" if rain in about 2 hours. Then more on Saturday, and Sunday, and today.......

No, I'm hoping the semi dried oil based paint on the deck repelled most of the water.. Hoping

I forgot about X-26, is that In operational shape? It seemed a lot of the restored units like the BN U boat, the Burlington Route high nose, and a few others were in the diesel shop this weekend.

Pretty sure neither the 18 nor the 26 are operational now. They used that really heavy fuel oil when they were operational, but i don't think they refine that anymore. I think its all the lighter fuel oil now... I have never seen it operate
