No problem. I did pretty much the same as you, moving the cross members. After looking at it, I realized the cross member stiffens the frame where the springs attached, so, I knew I had to shore that up!
Well the better half went to sears and checked out tool boxes with me. We decided that most of the reasonably priced ones weren't very good. So we had to go to home depot to pick up some house paint and she looked at the tool boxes on sale. She said the husky they had looked good and we could get it. Well we ran home and got the truck to pick it up. I am a lucky guy. Then I took her to the Cup race at Dover today and watched are guy Chase Elliott finish third, it was a good weekend.
I got a great deal at Home Depot on the box and it is better quality than I expected. I took two drawers of tools out of my Craftsman unit and put it in one and it slides open and closed so easy. The Craftsman box kept dropping off the slides that is why I got the new one.
You are right about that 390, and I wager that each of us, especially the older guys, have all accumulated duplicates, and triplicates of certain tools. I have always felt that "One is None, and Two is One".. If I have two, of something then I can usually find one of them.
