Russ your truck looks awesome. It's funny how most people don't notice manufacturing cosmetic mistakes until the vehicle is in an accident. Then it's always " It wasn't like that before the wreck. You Mr. Repairer didn't do your job right." Meantime what their complaining about was no where near where the damage was. I know that's not the case here. But as a collision repairer myself it does happen everyday. By the way that new grille looks awesome on the truck. Gives it a whole new attitude.

You are correct, I never saw an issue until I was looking it over with a fine tooth comb.

A few little issues regarding the repair have been identified and the truck will be going back in next month to have both the front and rear bumper repainted. The other two items are minor and easily correctable, I'm glad to see them standing behind their work.

Now for a few issues with the truck that were not expected. About a week ago I started getting the dreaded "click of death" from one of the blend door actuators. I ordered two of them (HVAC system uses 4) hoping to replace the most common failure units and move on with life. I have not had time to tear it apart yet and the heat is working great for now as I don't change it from defrost and full hot.

Secondly my factory battery finally died yesterday at 7 years, 5 months and 64,100 miles. The night before at the gas station after work it started slow/weird but i chalked it up as a fluke. I made another stop and it started fine. Then yesterday morning it was parked in the 70 degree garage all night and I came out and it would crank twice and nothing. Jumped it and drove it work, replaced it with a 850CA battery we had on the shelf at work and all has been well since.

Wow, seven years is a good run for a battery.

Glad u have her back & wow, she's looking good too
FWIW, the new Grill is ssooo much better than the original one, GREAT choice!
My Tremor Grill is one of my favorite upgrades too, IMO a Grill or Wheel swap makes the BIGGEST visual change

Note: I really want to upgrade my Headlights to black OE Projectors, as my wife's Headlights are so much better than mine .

I agree the grill looks fantastic, keeps it super clean. I appreciate the compliment as your truck is super clean and I love what you have done with it.

I washed the truck tonight, getting dropped off at the body shop in the morning, should have it back by Friday if all goes right.

when I get it back I'll put my summer wheels/tires on and give it a real good detailing as this time if year its soooo dirty with road spray from all the melting snow.

Some random pictures from the last month or so.

So I dropped the truck off on the 25th to have the bumpers repainted, I still don't have the truck back and they have repainted the rear bumper a total of 5 times now. This is getting ridiculous.

Got the call at 4pm today, it was done and ready for my inspection. Stopped over there its its perfect. Took them FOREVER but they stood behind the work and made it right, stuff happens I get it. But I had run out of patience.

Once home I got the Blizzak snow tires off, weekend will bring a full detail since winter was rough on it.

If people would still take pride in their work this going back stuff wouldnt happen, what i get worried about is what you can easily see that they have touched. seems like it always ends in disappointment or frustration trying to get it how it should have been in the first pickup.

After getting it back I washed it all up. Then the weather decided to turn and start snowing again! Getting around on slick roads with these Nitto tires was a chore but just took it slow and easy.

This weekend I plan to tackle the blend door issue. I washed it up again last night. So happy with how it turned out!

Photos in order from 4/13 through today 4/26 lol
