Junkyard build

Hey guys. I just picked up an 2wd 87 f150 short bed single cab with the i6 and a 5 speed. The truck cost me $500, and I bought it pretty much just to screw around with. I thought it would be a cool idea to build it up with nothing but junkyard parts, because there are tons of junkyards where I live. I'm obviously not looking to make a full blown prerunner out of this, but I would like to make it be able to stand up to my rather abusive ways. What would you guys do?

Sounds like a cool build. I would make a street cruiser out of it if the body is good. Dual exhaust, a little more meat in the rear tires, get a better stereo (nothin crazy, just a head unit) and enjoy it. If your looking for a work truck just fix it up Nice enough to drive and keep it going.

But sadly, there are some things I strongly advise you not buy at a junkyard. Things like fuel pumps or lines, brake parts, starters, steering parts, etc. Post up some pics of her!

It's a beater for sure, not pretty enough for a street cruiser. I'm looking to turn it into a cheap hoonmobile more than anything. I was thinking about swapping in f250 beams and a 9inch, maybe cage it as well. Any suggestions?

Also, how do i put a picture up?

Flat Black the truck black wheels big meets in the back skinnies in the front and build a big motor for it and drive the **** out of it. Make it a street truck throw a four speed in it low gears. Light to light untouchable, wait for a ricer to pullup on you and just nail it and leave him sitting there.
