rich what kind of shot is it? maybe i could get one.. as long as it is not processed thru the liver.. but it probably is..

i got a few more parts in last night for the 71. the only problem is the front brake hoses.. they are not like i needed and rock auto checked and said all the ones they sell are like that.. i ordered some through national parts depot..they claim they fit a 71 ford with frt. drum brakes so i will see.. i also got my parts form lmc.. i like my new frt. turn signal lens they are pretty..ha ha ha .i also got the parts to rebuild the steering column so it should steer like a new one. hopefully my sheet metal parts will be here this afternoon.. it will be good to be back in a ford truck that has all these new parts. i wont know how to act. ha ha ha ha ha

Shot will have to wait till Tricare approval.....so I put some used Tenzo seats and new Craigslist 4 pt Deist seat belts in the hillbillybug. It had those hard plastic Summit seats without pads and NO seatbelts.

A new battery makes ol blue start on the first key bump....now to put the overhaul kit in the carb, it has a little seep.

What do you all think of this paint combo? Opposite of what I wanted in the first place, but I think it still shows classic 70s truck... I am confused on color stuff lol

That's funny RC.

The only thing I've accomplished is taking it apart.

Nice color scheme, the race trac and fender lip chrome clash IMO. Just race trac chrome and NO fender lip chrome is good to go.

Are you using the dent and race trac chrome set up or not, I can't remember?

Jeff. I'll paint it like that all day long! That truck is absolutely beautiful!

RC. I'm yours all day on Saturday. Do you need me to bring anything down with me tool-wise?

Jeff. Tomorrow I'm at the car lot, but I'll be at the shop 1730-1930.

I managed to get a scrap run and some other errands in today, too. 1,500 pounds of scrap took a ride today. I told you guys I've been busy the past few weeks. Between the clean up and the fact that bandit is going back together, I actually have a little room in the shop now.

alan i cant think of any thing.. those floor panels look like they will require some trimming . i have several sizes of grinders and i think some cut off wheels but not sure how many. i will check tomorrow.. my electric shear and hand shears should work for the flat areas.. i have a reciprocating saw and blades.. but i am smooth out of the blades for the small air saw but should have a few blades for my old electric jigsaw.. so i think i should have everything we need or at least enough to get by.. you may want your helmet if you dont like mine.
