Shawn, I'd say that you got off pretty light with only that much of a cut from a chop saw!!!! That is not to make light of your injury, just to say that I think that you were pretty lucky that it wasn't much worse!

 

On the other hand, how much of the thumb did that saw get? Can't see too much from the photo, didn't hit the bone, did it?

 

Biggest thing I have learned George from being around Public Safety is this. Murphy was an optimist. And they always say Smile things could be worse. So we would smile. And sure enough things got worse.

 

Literally 'laughing out loud' on that one Shaun, and the cell phone thing is spot on too......

That it is George. I was just reading a story earlier today from Australia. Girl in her early 20's hit a cyclist because she was too busy text messaging someone with her phone. She stopped 300 feet away from the guy she hit and didn't bother to make sure he was ok. The guy spent several months in the hospital with a spine injury. She tried to say it was the cyclists fault her car was damaged. The judge took away her drivers license until next month.
