Modded W/B codes installed using "top-block" on b's with Rims and Tires added
Got my springs installed this past weekend, I used a trick first done by WE3ZS and then by jamesbfishin and put the top overload spring from the b-codes on the bottom of the w-codes. I gained 3" on the front, so i needed a little extra in the rear for the modded b-code. I used the "top-block" from the top overload spring and bolted it to the bottom (under the overload spring) of the b-codes, this gave an extra inch of lift. I didn't take any pics of the front, it been done, but I did take some of the rear. This "top-block" method has not been used to my knowledge so I made sure to take some pics to show what I did to gain a little extra (1") from a regular modded-b.
Had to cut the tabs off the "overload plate" so the tabs from the block would fit in it.
Then the top-block would fit
The block will sit on the factory block like this
Bolted to the bottom of the modded-b spring pack
And put back under the EX
Shot some black paint on them for the guys that ask "why didn't you paint them while you had them out"
Before: Stock Height
After: 3" in Front and 3.5" in Rear it has settled a little since this pic, now have a 1.5" rake
Got my wheels and tires on it!!

Reason: Fix typing
Thanks Stewart,
No I didn't take any pics of the spring before, I took them apart and used the top leaf on the front. Didn't take pics during the front install.
Found this one from a post from white_Buffalo

That should help others that will contemplate going down this same route you've blazed.
Yes, the thicker spacers are there. If you look closely at the pic of the spring on the floor, you can see the thicker ones there. They are actually shorter than the thin ones that came on the b-codes.

Putting that top overload "block" under the spring and on top of the Excursion block is sort of like putting in the F250 block (that replaces the Excursion block), correct? This way you avoid having to buy F250 blocks.
If I'm not mistaken, the F250 block is tapered. Any issue with your setup not being tapered?
you stacked the blocks...that is kind of a big no no. under axle wrap that sucker will eject. I understand the smaller 1" one is bolted to the leaf pack...but there is extra leverage being placed on the original
may be perfectly fine/safe...but seems iffy to me.
