Wheel weights and chrome trim rings

Beauty (trim) rings were not offered by FoMoCo for 1967/71's, only offered for 1972 F250 2WD's & F350's.
The most popular beauty rings seen on these trucks were originally a FoMoCo accessory for 1941/48 Ford/Mercury Passenger Cars, 1942/47 Commercials (1/2 ton pickups/sedan deliveries).
There are two different sizes, 15" & 16."

As far as I know the stick on weights are meant to only be mounted in the back side. But as close to the middle as possible. Not out by the wheel lip. Both for balancing and the centrifical force holds them there.

AFAIK, the 'stick-on' weights were originally installed on the backsides of styled steel and aluminum wheels...which were introduced in 1977 F100/150 & 1978 Bronco.
The weights were hidden on the backsides, so they wouldn't mar the looks of styled wheels.
My purchased new 1979/88/92/2004/2011 F150 Lariats had them there as did my 2004/2005/2006 Titans (don't say it!).
