Back from MIL's. All went well, I think. Now it is lunch time.
Those are the only two brands of spark plugs the outboard I have has ever had in it. Mine uses the flat bottomed plugs without the protruding electrode. Don't have to worry about the gap I guess, but the first time I pulled them out I thought they were broke!
Mid 70s to late 80s Evinrude/Johnson 20-35hp 2 strokes are some of the best outboards ever built, they are still running in places from the Amazon to the arctic, just keep the oil mix right and keep the water-pump impellor running and they will last forever.
My 35 Evinrude will run 36mph on my 15ft aluminum boat all day long on half a 6gal gas can.
Stick with NGK or champion for plugs.

Evening gang. The rain is back with a vengeance.

Evening guys! tried to take the day off and get some personal business done.. towards the end of the day i got an emergency call.. so much for that..
Got the carb on the tiller fixed. Parts are no longer available... had to customize a Tecumseh needle valve etc etc.. No more leaky carb!
Hope you guys are staying dry.

Only excitement I had today was a blown fuse on my motorcycle which left me without turn signals, taillight, or brake light for my ride home from class.
Turns out the cheap rear turn signals I installed are, well... CHEAP! Gotta replace them or else risk more blown fuses, or worse. Got them working again for now.

Charlie, if... I mean when you come out here to visit you better ditch the 'brella. It's a sure sign of an out of towner. If you visit Portland proper they could run you off mistaking you for someone from California.
