lol the camper was cut out?! or was it just a topper/shell? there is a dodge that runs around here with a topper cutout for stacks.

That Dodge is on the dunes all the time, or it used to be anyway. Seems like there would be an excessive amount of heat inside of it.
I will not be towing anything with the my Bronco. I am hoping for headers this week though

Waiting on headers and stuff from bronco graveyard. If they fit then I am good for the year and will have it there when we come up. If it won't fit then I have to go to plan B.

lol. You've missed a lot I guess.
I got it all back together and went for a ride, trans temps went up to 250, started looking around (and never really liked the way the exhaust was run to begin with). The left side runs under the tranny pan, right side has both 3" pipes right by the trans and cooler lines. Burned the fluid within 8 miles. did more research and made more calls, cut off all the exhaust and got the temps back down under 200* (still have right side exhaust dumping on cooler lines). decided that fenderwell headers should cure the problem, then started looking at the engine install and found that it is sitting 1-2" lower in the frame. It looks like I might be able to get them on there, but will not know for sure until I get the headers. In the mean time The Bronco Alliance on FB had a posting of a chassis for sale in Atlanta, there was a guy in Alabama that only wants the axles and the frame has the factory frame mounts on it still along with the out middle body mounts that rot out (mine have been cobbled) are in perfect shape.
So to end the story if the fenderwell headers don't work, the truck is going to sit until next year. I cannot throw any more money into it this year. I'll start to slowly gather all new suspension parts, paint the frame, and do a frame swap after I get a rolling chassis. which will end up with me painting the bottom of the body and removing the great big a/c box off the front of the firewall.
Yes I'm glad to have my Bronco, no I'm not that happy to be forced into a frame off rebuild already......

I must have missed a page somewhere....
Last I heard you thought the exhaust was the culprit but hadn't confirmed anything.
