Do you guys have any pictures of the tank so I can try and compare to the pictures of my ex tank?

Andrew I have been trying to find info on the rear cab and chassis tanks and all that I could find is it is a 40 gallon tank and not much else lol, mine is 42 so I would assume it works and if anything it will be just a tad short and I could extend it easily I would think.

I do not know but sounds about right. I can try and get under there and take some pictures tonight. Have to test drive the big white one first.

I know the units new are like $700

Cool, thanks I have still been looking with no luck unfortunately. I would even be ok with having to slightly modify it to fit lol better than dropping $700 on a pick up and another $600ish on an airdog.

I just went out sand took a look and it is the wrong one it is the bolt in pickup/sender instead of the one the is held in with the ring.

Sorry about that. Back to looking in junkyards or buying new.

You wont want the screens on it anyway if you are going to go with a pre pump filter system. the screen clog up and you have to drop the tank to clean them instead of just replacing a filter on your frame rail.

You will have to call them tomorrow. It is a junkyard near me. let me know if you need it picked up and shipped. They should be able to do it for you though.

Nice build so far. 1 question though. Why is that bracket so big ? I swapped 8k springs from a '15 into my 88 and they were no bigger then stock. Not insulting or a put down, just curious.

No worries they are spring for the 2008+ trucks in 08 ford went with new rear springs that were 8" longer to provide a better ride. The downside is they squat more so that's why I am adding the air bags.

That is strange how they fit your 88 though I wonder if they were longer then.
