Its all done with the reflector. The projector basically becomes one solid piece to it.

I transferred college's Friday and do to this 50+ mile commute a day between going to school then work then home and repeat I am getting an 06 Chevy Malibu from a family member who can no longer drive do to age. the truck will sit Monday-Friday during the semester unless i come home then have to go out again. My plans are to start some projects soon since it is getting warmer out again and i dont need it as a DD right now.

I plan to get done between now and the fall semester(not in order).
-08 Dash
-HID Retrofit
-Power Mirror Functions wired
-Remove all accessories that are tapped off the main harness and build an auxiliary fuse block
-Fender flares
-PMF Pinch Weld Covers ($75 good deal!)
-PMF Dual Steering Stablizer
-extended cab quarter door 08 door panels
-Viper remote start
-brakes
-Build Box the runs along the inside of the cab where the AMP steps mount to seal them off from the road grime and winter salt except for the bottom of the step when folded up.

Sounds like a lot but a lot of the electrical stuff is tied to the 08 dash swap because I'm a maniac about wires and having them neat so while th dash is off I am neatening it up.

Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see the grill replacement mentioned. That doesn't look like any stock grill that I remember ever seeing on an F250. It reminds me a little of how I had the driving lights on my '04 Crown Vic and would be a nice improvement for my '04 F250

That's all part of the 05 conversion lol. I originally thought I was getting the chrome billet grille when the body shop asked me which one I wanted (got hit in a parking lot so the conversion was basically free) but when I showed up the center was black. I saw it and for about half a second I was disappointed and then I realized how good it looked on the truck this was all before the rims tires and two tone as well.

Its a $10 difference for the square ones that apparently give a better output as well so it looks like I'm taking this route once it warms up outside.

I saw this today as well. I think those square ones will look good in the 05 housings. The ds2 should allow you to get oem bulbs for better color to.

Which bulbs do you think would be best? If I'm gonna retrofit them then I might as well spend a little extra and get some decent bulbs. Yours do look great however, I have heard good things about Philips but they also offer Osram which I've never heard anything about. Once you get OEM too you dont get a color choice so I'm assuming they are 5000k in color.

Osram is Phillips and you get 4200 and 5 that I can see on trs. The basic ones are 90ish. The nightbreakers are almost 200$.

If I had to pick a color again it would be 5000k to match my fog lights. Its not a huge deal, but the fog lights being 5500 make the 4300k look very very halogen-y

Went full retard today and backed into the side of my moms Expedition this morning . I park on our apron and my dad hates it when I drive over the grass so I was using my passenger side mirror to make sure I missed the grass and completely forgot that my mom parked behind my dads truck. I drove at like 3 MPH into the rear quarter panel with my bumper and pushed it in decently (her quarter panel), I missed the door though thank go. I got a small scuff on the bumper plastic but my moms car is at the body shop now getting looked at...there goes some truck mod money .

Funny part was I had only been up for about 30 minutes so I was still tired and out of it when I hit the car. When I hit it I was staring at my mirror like....why did I stop? I started looking around all confused then saw my bumper in the side of her car lol.

Don't feel to bad my dad backed straight into our Mazda 3 and bent in both doors. Didn't realize it until after it happened. Strange things happen In the morning when you're still zombied out

Yeah, not that upset now anymore, I was pissed this morning at myself though. It totaled out at $3000 roughly in damage lol. Oh well I guess accidents happen its my first technically at fault accident I've ever had.

Now I kinda wish I bent my bumper so I would have a half decent excuse to buy an 08 one lol.
