Ok, here is the deal..im looking for an ic. I am rebuilding my radiator support and am going to clearence it before I base nd clear it..
I have been checking car-part.com for intercooers...I searched an 01 sd and there was a selection for with or without catilitic converter. The prive is enough different to make me ask why? Is that the all alluminum vs plastic tank dealio?
Or, I found a yard here locally that shows to have a 6.0 ic in stock . For price it says call and with my past experience with them their prices are high !
Needles to say, im trying to figure out what to do...

there is an early(all aluminum) and late(aluminum core /plastic tanks) SD 7.3 one.
And the 6.0 one is aluminum core with plastic tanks.
But buy your budget allows.
I prefer the all aluminum one for shear strength. Even though I will probability never build enough boost to brake a plastic tank one.
All 3 will work just fine for you as long as you keep it under 40psi, so take your pic
