What color is your rig?

Maybe it's just me but certain designs look better on certain colors. IMO

In that case I vote #2.

Just an opinion. Good luck.

My big thing with the wheel spacers is how much they cost! I've done the math and it seems like you're just better off buying some aftermarket wheels made for the Excursion with the correct back spacing so that spacers are not required. By the time you buy the hub centric spacers (choice between aluminum and steel, prices vary a lot) and some used wheels, you could buy new ones and have tons of choices.

I do not understand your comment? Jesser02EX is looking for wheels, not tires.

I was providing an example of CL wheels for sale locally as per our previous post in this thread. Just trying to help a fellow FTE member.

Just saying those wheels in CL might not be a good deal with those tires on them, usually if they don't show the tread or give percentage of wear they are just throw aways and they stick you with them, plus they don't dismount free or throw away for free.

I really appreciate all the help! The FTE brotherhood is wonderful. Anything other then 04 18's will require spacers and increase the costs by 400-600.

I'm to the point the only factory would be direct fitting rims. Otherwise aftermarket are the cheaper option.

Right, plus spacers are kind of like a bandaid.

Pay close attention to the aftermarket wheels you look at, most are NOT hub centric (like our factory wheels are) and some have lower weight ratings then what should be on a heavy EX.

So $75/ wheel is not cheap enough for you to dispose of worn out tires? Maybe he should just give them away, what do you think? So what would a set of comparable wheels in your area go for?
