Nah, got a monster white crap blower for the hated winter season. Mine's a Lowes model, so you can put attachments on it, anyway. Frame isn't strong enough.

I too have a monster snow thrower that goes on mine (once I finish rebuilding the front gear box) It is 42" wide and is belt driven from the PTO to the rear gear box, then shaft driven to the front gear box. It can take the wet, heavy lake effect snow that we get and throw it about 50' away.

I was thinking about going that route, getting a regular John Deere, and either do the plow, or the blower. But, I got a swinging deal on the tractor that I have, so opted for that.

Can't blame you for that. I purchased my lawn tractor in '05 and kept my eye out for a good used snow blower. So happens that my dealer got this one in to sell on consigment and it came complete (belt, weights, weight bracket, tire chains and blower). Normally that would run about $1500, but I walked out of there with it for $750.

I was thinking about a plow but with that you need to make sure that when you first start blowing for the season, you need to push it far enough that you have room to allow for additional snow to be pushed too. With a blower, I just go back and forth and have no issue with getting the snow out of the way.

Niice thing about my drive, when the boys used their plow last year, is you can push it out the gate, into the back yard....

which, after being piled up enough, made a great tunnel making spot for the kids!

No, you still have to go out in the cold, and push that crap around! Nice try, though, Rob.....
