So I am trying to search for topics in a sub-forum and it keeps shooting my to this link speedperk.com ??? WTH?

Why? is this some kind of "suggestion" gone crazy? after the 1st 7 times any further ttempts just prove I am a jackass to keep trying. any insite would be appreciated.

I was having this issue with the photouploader section of FTE as well.

 

Yes Me too,every time I try to search a forum and hit the search arrow it takes me to the ad which is in the background behind the search option. been this way a few days now
any help for a computer illiterate?....Thanks,Dave

 

I cant see how it's "us" or our computers we must be being redirected to "that" site by this site!?!

I was in the Expedition & Navigator sub forum
2004 expedition was one search
roof rack was another
those were a couple and there were more but they all resulted in sending me to the other site (speedperkdotcom)

What system and browser you using

 

Hi, I'm using windows 7 internet explorer (also tried firefox) got the same results..as soon as our website opens, a column on the right side of screen appears directly below the "log in- log out" heading ..that heading and above is in normal place....advance auto parts ad dominates the problem area.If I try to
search a forum and press the search arrow that takes me to advance...hope this helps....never before had this problem....Thanks David

clicked on search forum over towards the top right.
I entered any one of a dozen different search terms and each and everytime
instead of post results from the forum it takes me to speedperk.com .and asks me to sign up for whatever they are selling.. not sure what else i can say.
I am using chrome and was able to search a week or so ago.
apparently no searching for me.

well ,it's Sunday am and website display seems back to normal..ads in right hand column are still there,but the forum search arrow does start search now. thanks....David

 

Mortimer, we're back! As of Sunday morning the ability to search the forum and not get redirected is back. Thanks to all for your efforts on this problem.

Hi Tim,with the display back to normal,i see a glaring difference in the ads...no advance auto parts ad....seems to me that about 2 years ago while searching for parts,i tried advance and my computer went into lock-up,couldn't do anything at all,not even turn it off...finally had to actually pull the plug from the wall...coincidence? anyway i no longer look at advance.....david
