This is why, when I am not towing, I just use the 87 perf/tow tune. You can use higher octane gas than what the tune calls for without negative effects; but not higher tune than the octane rating of the gasoline. And really, I can't tell much difference between the 87 perf/tow tune and the 91 perf/tow; maybe when I hook up to a big load there will be a noticeable difference.

I got 3 tunes 93 per 87 tow 87 Eco but only use 93 perf

 

Truck is not my daily though

 

So if you believe all the numbers my 2011 6.2 limited is 411hp stock k&n cold air 10hp mikes 5 star 93 tune 35hp= 456hp and it runs like it this truck rips I love beating on my buddies tuned diesels .

 

I got the 87 economy and perf/tow and the 91 economy and perf/tow tunes. I know I was able to get 5 but I had no use for a 5th tune so why bother. ANd now that I have had it for some time the economy tunes are pretty much a waste on the tuner too as I will never use them again after being wooed to the dark side with the perf/tow tune.
