I will actually be doing the cooking today, for lunch anyways. I like to have lunch ready for her when she comes home on her break, that way she has something decent to eat instead of a cold sandwich or a hotdog.. I might be able to talk her in to supper though

Looks like we might get some storms today. Chance of thunderstorms this afternoon, and chance of storms again tonight. Bring it on

 

Good morning guys! Been an interesting morning here today. A damn hurricane rolled through here about 0700. We had sustained winds of 90 mph at our weather tower! Big mess out here now, a couple of downed lines, and some trees blown over, not to mention all of the loose crap that got blown around. Ever seen a 5 gallon water bottle get picked up and tossed by the wind? Pretty impressive. I'm going around resetting stuff that blinked out during a momentary loss of power we had in some of the plant. Be back later.

We had some sirens going off a little bit ago.. Probably a tornado watch or something..

Its just annoying.. been hearing them my whole life, so its nothing that excites me.
