Welcome aboard! There are a few 7.3 guys who chat in the Texas Chapter every once in a while, but in the 99-03 PSD forum, I would say 1/3 of the people there are from Texas. We have get together's every so often where we all just shoot the ***** and work on each others 7.3s. It's a lot of fun and you can learn a lot. Next one probably will happen once it starts to cool down

I am with you on the Rat rod project. I am keeping my eyes open for a rat rod project. I saw some rally cool rods at a car show in Austin about 5 years ago, and I love the concept.
There was lots of "Peggy Sue's" and Rat Rods, and they were having way to much fun after dark, cruzing the streets.

Thanks!
Thanks everyone for welcoming me into the Texas chapter, I tried to post some pictures but they were to big of a file to upload here. The F-350 may be sold today but it will be replaced with a used F-250 that still has the 7.3 and 6 speed. The rat rod project is still a long ways off, too many irons in the fire!

Hi, again. Update, I sold my 99 f-350 7.3 6 speed crew cab dually flat bed yesterday and replaced it with a 99 f-250 6 speed super cab short bed which is the down size I wanted and made $2750.00 profit in the process. Both deals were done with private parties so no dealers profited from us.

Very nice, great deal. Don't you love it when a plan comes together...
