I'm sorry to say I've decided to put my F250 up for sale.

The truck has the original Y block 352 engine. Runs and drives and can haul without any problems. It's an automatic with the C6 transmission which is ridiculously durable. The transmission has been serviced about a year ago and has a slight leak. Engine runs strong and at the moment is running slightly rich but can be adjusted. It's got a double barrel autolite carb on it at the moment with an thermo-choke on it so the choke line is disconnected. It was equipped with a primitive emissions controller but that was taken off. In the pictures, you can see where the tin foil is to prevent the first and third cylinders from being cooled. The exhaust lines have been replaced but the donut between the manifolds and the exhaust lines burn out quickly so the truck gets loud.

Interior needs work. Upholstery is pretty much held together with tape and the headliner is non existent. I have no idea why the previous owner put so much woodwork into the cab. Horns don't work and one of the hood lifting hinges is bent out of shape. But otherwise, in decent shape with only one major rust issue on the hood.

Truck is equipped with two reserve tanks which aren't hooked up to anything at the moment. It has a clean registration and original black and gold California commercial plates which seem to be fairly uncommon these days. Mileage says 55,280 but i'm not sure how many times it has rolled over.

It's a project truck but it ended up being a work truck. I would have preferred a car to work on, but this was a good first foray. Asking 4200 dollars or possible trade for a running 1950s to early 1960s car/wagon.
