Well Dropped my Ex off at a tranny place. Just bought it, and of course people lied. Ah well. Codes were primarily torque converter issues with a fuel pump voltage in there so I am hoping its not that bad. Wish I knew how to fix all that crap myself, bought the vehicle cause I got a second one on her way and my current car is not a baby vehicle. Or kid vehicle... Well, lets hope that its nothing major, and I will be on a lot asking a lot of questions of all ya grizzled pros
Well torque converter is slipping so 3k for new tranny and fuel pump issue of some sort? Blah... How hard is it to replace to replace torque converter if you are mechanically inclined but engines scare you?

You just need to get it up high and have a trans jack.
Well Got a whole entire pump assembly replaced, new front shocks, oil change. Family mechanic advises me not to worry about the torque converter for now since it drives and shifts so well. So I feel a tad better hehe. Now need to get the lock actuators fixed/replaced, get the driver captains chair adjusting console thing fixed(partially works) and get things dialed in. Is it possible to get the black shiny paint on the rear door fixed? Also are there hooks in the second row for a child seat? I cant seem to find any. Is it possible to refresh the AC by myself or does it need to be done professionally? And how do I find out what gearing I have? TY for the info so far guys

You can refresh the AC if it isn't empty but if it is you will have to have it evacuated and filled which will reveal a leak also if there is one.
The gearing you should have on the door sticker. I think the 2000 model yr did not have it on there and other yrs they decided to fill it in. Or you could look at the back diff cover, it should have a tag on it. You can decifer codes by google or the info is in the tech folder.
If is nice here. We can also help you spend some money on various mods after your done the repairs and have money left over. lol

Let me guess.... high mileage, but attractive price.
You took a gamble, but you might get the short end of the stick.
I keep warning people, you get what you pay for. I hope things work out OK for you though.

Crawl under and get the tag off the rear axle is the best way. You can also look at the door tag but that doesn't account for if anyone ever changed out the axles. Door tag is on the drivers door inside edge, the tag easiest to read should be on the right side of your rear pumpkin it's metal and bolts on, it should have a code that will reveal your gear ratio.
