Put the battery in the motorcycle and she started right up. Putting her to bed right in the fall makes for an easy out in the spring!

You and me both. Still seeing fresh snow in the hills but nothing down lower to speak of.

Shawn that's awesome, would love to see pics sometime. I lived down by Rutland in Mendon. In fact my profile picture (where I am striking a pose, lol) I am actually on top of Mt Killington

That can be arranged...here is the last renovation, a new bathroom downstairs. Major project since the sills were gone so we had to build new supports and then gutted everything and started over. More than you wanted to know probably but it is just a year old. Bathroom project 2012 - vtbryans' Photos

A small fortune was spent to give mother what she wanted. She did the design and we did all the demo and then we were carpenter's helpers for the construction. I did the wiring and plumbing. We also hired a tile guy for the shower. It came out OK but was a three month project.

WoW, your basement looks similar to my parents house, but theirs is only 100 years old. At least thats what it looks like on one half of the basement. Are you installing that flxible central air? I have seen those before on older homes where you obviously don't have room for the big duct work.

No AC in VT. We have a new boiler two years ago and forced hot water baseboard heat. I did replumb the entire house since I was doing the bathroom anyway. Oh, and it's a dirt floor cellar with fieldstone foundation. Old rocks gathered from the fields around the house - waste not, want not.

Good evening Vermont Ford truck fans, Jim, Shawn, Clint, and Chris! The high here today was 53° at midnight, dropped to the upper 40s and remained. More rain and storms are on the way along with a snow possibility on Thursday. Hope you all have a terrific thirsty Thursday.
