problem with anything that sits that far back rick is it leaves the same problem i ran into on the s10 when i was hauling 24' pieces of steel... any bump id hit can beat the roof... not only denting it but scratching off the paint... dont want that to happen on this truck...

Night Neil..

You can keep your snow. Supposed to be a low of 29 the next few day. Only 48 for a high tomorrow.

yeah thats why i dont like the "hidden rack" that don keeps posting... i have hauled them 24' lengths.. and when not supported right can bounce around.. local govts keep saying theyre going to fix the roads but theyve only been getting worse... theyre actually finding more and more the roads are damaging the suspensions from under the cars...

i woulda liked one of those... but the few times ive been in parking garages ive had all of 1-2" of clearance... lol... trucks supposedly over 6.5' high.. some garages ive gone in said they had 7' clearance and barely cleared...

It was cold and windy.. Add to it being wet. I wore my Frogg Toggs most of the evening. Kept me dry
