I hsve a computer out of a 1993 F350 that has the following information:
F4TF-12A650-AHA. Does this information matter or could an alternative computer be used. I was informed that there are none of these available and I would need to get mine rebuilt at the factory. I live in the Bahamas so none of the emissions stuff really is needed and it is a manual shift unit with the basic 5.8 engine. Is there a standard computer I could use to replace this one?
It fits 1994 Ford Trucks. If you have a 1993 then post the Calibration number off the drivers door post and we will tell you what computer to get as this one will not fit a 1993 Ford truck. The number you listed is for a CCD Ignition system and the 1993 truck takes a push-start computer.

Alternate/OEM Part Number(s): F4TF12A650AHA, F4TZ12A650AHA, F4TZ12A650AHB, F6PF12A650ELA, F6PZ12A650ELA
First of all I apologize-- the truck was manufactured 3-94. Calibration numbers on the door post are as follows: 4-75A-R00. Under that was the following sequence of letters: F4AE-6E061-LZL. Thanks for the help.
The Ford part number that the Ford dealers go by is F4TZ-12A650-AHA and the drawing or engineering number is F4TF-12A650-AHA that is the number on the part and what auto part stores go by.
