They are Rick. Except for the kitchen, porch 1st floor bathroom, and the entire second floor the whole first floor still has the original hardwood flooring. Even the steps are hardwood.

Not my call on it Rick. And I dont think the dogs would like it too much. They already dont like the floors in the dining roomand kitchen because they dont get any traction.
Evening and the last time I did any tile work was 12 years ago when we built the house.
Evening Neil!
Its killing the old man's back.
This house was built 34 years ago and we've been in it 21 years and its been a work in progress. Making a castle out of a barn.

Bigger dogs don't like them for that very reason, they will tear up hardwoods.
Yeah I have Dalmations and when the run to th eback door sometimes they go to make the turn to head outside and their whole rear end slides out and they slide right into the fridge.

Shaun, it is fun watching a back end go off from under them as they round a corner too fast on hardwood floors. You should see it in my house when the pack gets going
Neil I see it alot in my house. After I check to make sure they didnt hurt themselves ( especially our one Dal Lucy. She had a broken leg when she was a pup) I just cant help but laugh a little.

We had a small dog that knew better than to run in the house. Slid into the wall many times before she learned.
