John, If they stay less than 48 hrs it'll just be 13% tax due. Print up all your bills off E-Bay or where ever you purchased from and have them handy when they ask. They will also tax any shipping charges. That's the one that really frosts me, tax on US shipping!!!!!!! really. Without receipts it can get a little pissy. I actually had them log onto my E-Bay account for proof of item costs I didn't have receipts for one time. First thing I did after leaving customs was delete my account and started over. Once big brother had key stroked my account I wasn't taking any chances. With receipts I've never had an issue. Just paid the tax and left.

 

Yep, its that simple, as long as they don't try n hide something n get caught

 

That's awesome George. Good laugh. It's amazing that to this day some of those laws will still be on the books.

 

Most of the time they do come out and quickly itemize things and go through your car after you've paid the tax. Not really worth the bother to hide ****.
