I am hopeing for 500hp and 1000-1100lbsft torque at the wheels. Gotta get way in front of the new "Fiat Ram" and Chevy's.

I would like to see a fully boxed frame and more effective exhaust brake and better high altitude performance

They just rolled this body style and motor out in 2011. I am willing to bet not much will change for the 2014 model. Just for the OEM to break even on the cost on a body design, they have to run it for atleast 5 years. Most of the time thats what they try to do. If Ford makes major changes like a new chassis and what so I would not expect it til 2015. Like others said....they will wait to see GM's duraslack and new truck then start to design the truck. On the express land to roll out a new truck it should be ready in 2015....thats in a hurry though.
All Ford could do right now for 2014 would be freshen up...maybe add some power. Small changes.

I read you can order a 2014 in March of 2013 and the first 2014s will be on dealers lots around June/July 2013. I'll try to find the info and link it.

What? I don't see DEF getting dropped on anything that already has it.
Where did you hear this?
Fuel stations have already made a big investment in bulk DEF pumps.

When did RAM Trucks drop the DEF idea for the 2013 HD pickup?

Dodge TV ads state no DEF. I called Dodge service here and asked how they did it and got a vague reply but he said they do still have a particulate filter.

All the diesel trucks now use def.

I think the 2012 6.7 Cummins is DEF free. But, I believe the 2013's use DEF.
