Was a cloudy day today in AZ, but the day ended with the clouds clearing just before 1800. My bottle came out of the purple bag tonight for Robin. Bottoms up my friend.

While it seems perfectly OK to tip one tonight too, the arranged day is THIS FRIDAY at 1800 (6PM) Arizona time, which is also 1800 Pacific time.

If you can, get together with at least one other FTE'r to do this. For those that knew him, tell Robin stories, especially to those that didn't know him.

If you can't, that's OK, too!

Just remember 6PM PDT this Friday, wherever you are!

Not sure how I missed this, very sad to hear of Robin's passing. Though I never got to meet or speak with the man, the information he passed on in the forum has been extremely helpful over the years, he will be missed.

Memorial Day

All Gave Some....Some Gave All was a signature line that Robin used on a regular basis. One of the flags in this video is for him.

My wife works for U of P...I told her about Robin, and she donated a flag for him in his honor. The employees could sponsor a flag for any vet. I have been crazy busy, and forgot to post, but yes Gregg he is and always be honored every year y'all can count on that!

That is awesome. I sponsored a flag for Robin via the American Red Cross (per the UofP website request). That flag display is a few blocks away from my office so I stopped by to see it yesterday. It just looks like a lawn full of flags from the ground but the view from above is pretty cool. We are very close to the airport so it can probably be seen by passengers on some of the incoming flights.

This says something about the people of the State of Arizona.

Can you imagine it happening in San Francisco, Eugene, or any of a multitude of other vet-hostile places in our country? Naaaa........

You guys set a standard for some other states to emulate.

This coming Wednesday, August 7th is officially Purple Heart Day, I thought I would honor Robin by posting this, as he was awarded a Purple Heart in the service of our country!

Again, my thanks to you, Robin, for all the knowledge you shared with this group.

Rest in peace, my friend! As was written, "You will always be the measure of what it means to be a brother!"
