Harley and I have to finish reroofing a garage on the radar base. I blew it, and dropped a 500lb transformer through the roof.........

 

Oh, yeah, you said something about that. How the heck did you manage to do that??

 

The LLC wanted me to take some power poles down that had transformers on them. I got the oil, and they got the copper. I didn't know the transformers were just hung on the crossbars, not bolted to them. I cut the pole down and the transformer fell off the crossbar and through the garage roof..........

 

Oh, hell!! I would have loved to see the look on your face when that happened!!LOL

 

I thought Harley was gonna die laughing............lol

Ten minutes later, two state inspectors showed up and almost had a cow. They thought the transformers had PCB's in the oil and the ground was now contaminated....

I had the test results from the oil in my truck. NO PCB's.........

 

That's good. Otherwise, the EPA people would have been all over you.

 

After 6 years in the ARMY, I learned to cover my butt a long time ago...............lol

 

Yep, know all about that myself.

 

Sister in Law just called. They are bringing down my pallet racking next monday! WooooHooo!

 

More toys for Don! I assume you have a spot picked out for that already.

 

Yup! My 3,000 sf storage building! I'll be able to clear out about half of that building by putting the "stuff" on shelving. That means I've got room for more stuff!!

 

Nice! I could use a storage building like that!

 

I'm working on buying another building right now........I need more space for more "stuff"..................lol

 

I'd be filling mine with future projects. Something to make the wife happy......NOT!

We've got so many projects around here, Harley may not live long enough to finish them all.......But we're working on it!
