Question dual exhast-double gas mileage?

Currently I have only one exhaust tip (4") on a 3.0L EDGE running out of a flowmaster. Might anyone know what would happen to my gas mileage, sound or drive quality if switched to a dual outlet muffler? I'm seriously thinking about it but I need a little advise as to info and possible brands besides flowmaster.

The sound depends on the muffler. If you got the same type of muffler just with dual outlets, your sound would change very little if at all. As far as gas mileage goes, it probably wouldn't be affected any either.

nothing will happen... if anything, TECHNICALLY your mileage should decrease ever so slightly because you'll be carrying another 30-40lbs of dead weight.

That 3 liter motor doesn't put out enough exhaust to use the room in a single exhaust let alone duals. Put in a V-8 and ask that question again.
