I keep seeing ads on craigs list for mid 90's ford trucks, that claim they have a 351C in them. I've seen it claimed several times. One even said it was a special order from the factory on a 97 F250. My understanding is that the 351C's were not made in this country after 74. Can someone clear this up for me?

 

70-74 only. Anything else is either a swap (unlikely in the 90s because of emission regs) or ... something else. I recently went through about 8 craigslist ads in DFW about "351C"s - all but one was something else - 351W, M, not a motor Ford, etc.
