New intake for my truck...

Got a new AFE intake for my newish truck.. finally got time to put it in..







noticed another boot was dirty... since i already cleaned the other 2 figured might as well clean it since it caught my eye... and lead to a distraction...


such a nasty looking filter...



back side kinda looks clean...



hmm parts piles growing..





we dont really need this right??





one last look...



alright distraction broke in...



yes my ocd had kicked in...

short period of time to go back to return to installing CAI...







time to put the intake back together







and back once again to finish the intake install...

love their battery mat to hold it in place...

it tried to run on its own when i reconnected the battery...

yeah... some previous owner installed an aftermarket remote start that the remotes i dont have.. and prolly didnt work... so ill need to find it to unhook it and remove it...

You could try a local alarm guy.. maybe they have the remotes for it.. If it's a name brand one..

Shawn you never should change the air intake on that truck, the stock set up is the best, all you had to do was replace the filter........

so ive heard... but his supposedly get me 15 more hp... along with about 40 more tq... and 110 more CFM... and being a dry filter its not going to hurt the turbo either...

i have 1 remote for it but i dont think everythings there... cuz it didnt work anymore...
