Bed angle iron size

I am ready to start welding on my 1960 f100 custom step side truck and need to know what size angle iron or what metal size to go on the inside of the bed for wood floors. The current ones are just about gone and I need to replace them. Or is there another method?

Is this the piece you are talking about? If so maybe one of our flairside owners can take a measurement for you? Looks like it may be sandwiched between the upper and lower panels.

Good luck in your quest! Pictures are always nice.
