Finally someone is getting some where with a gauge pod. Devino got pretty far but haven't heard from him in a while. Keep up the good work.

well i just got done the first layer of fiberglass. i ran out of mat so i couldnt add another 1 but its looking better.

No kidding. Ronny here has gotten farther in 2 days than anyone else has in months or years of trying, literally. I have no interest in fiberglass work but I was considering learning it just for this purpose. Maybe now I won't have to.
Let's see it , man!

fordworth man i appreciate it just reading that an wat others posted it it motivates me so much man. yous guys r keeping this project goin. no lie. if you need any help, pointer dont hesitate to ask, you guys were here for me an ill do the same back, fiberglass isnt that hard to work with its just messy. an this is only my second project playing with it an theres sum pretty good guys out there that know what there doin, for instance hio said about the fleece, if i didnt think about that i would still be filling an sanding an wouldnt have gotten this far so fast so like i said b4 im gunna try an have this done by sunday thats my goal

well its just about 1am, the fiberglass is just about dried so i pulled it off the board. im gunna let it harden over night an tommarow i plan on getting it pretty much done. there callen for a 80% chance of rain here in pa so i ill be in my garage tommarow finishing this thing up!!

trimmed it all up an sanded the high spots just now. im gunna fill/sand the low spots an then its pretty much ready for the final mold which i can produce

sry guys i wanted to have the pod done today but i had to get caught up on another project that goin on. me an my dad sanded an primered the passanger side of my truck today so we can get it preps an send it off for painting but i managed to get sum progress on the pod. i was focused on the first 2 pods then the 3rd on. i didnt forget about it.

yes devino i found that on another pod build, i had a old oil presure gauge, my guess is its a 2-1/16 an it fits real nice

back again guys i got a little progress today the dam thing kept fighting me, i had to trim it all down an make it fit better, still aint 100% but i will get it there, the main problem was the fiberglass was to thick to fit between the dash pad an the pillar.so will c what else i can get done tonight

hey guys im still here im pretty much done with the pod till i order some good quality resin an gelcoat so it comes out good. im planing on ordering them next week ill keep yas posted.
