351m to 400m questions

351m to 400m questions

i recently have been wanting more ***** out of my 351m. so i was thinking about buying the tmeyer 400m kit. when doing this how much hp should my motor have . and what would the compresion ratio be? also would a big cam with say a .515 lift help me get more power at the same time. anyother not to expensive options o could do.

9.3:1 per Tim's website if you keep your stock heads.

I would expect around 350 HP or so and 400 torque (flywheel SAE)

I would have Tim tell you what cam to buy; you don't want to guess on this build. It is easy to put in the wrong cam and end up with something that pings when your static compression is in that range.
