The fishing was slower this trip. Usually we can limit out in about 4 hours, no later than 11 AM, and have the day to go hike and play around on the upper Rogue or in Crater Lake. Even though they made us "work" this trip, we still had plenty for several fish bakes and fish fries in the fire and bring 125 home for smoking and freezing for winter. We also have some close friends, she's from over seas, and she absolutely loves trout, we get her a few trout - drop them off with her and she goes giddy. Kind of fun to watch. and shortly thereafter baked cookies, fudge and similar type stuff, pies and farm fresh brown chicken eggs show up! A win-win for all of us.

The circus is over.......... The trial of Theresa's Ex-Dad is over
The jury started deliberation at 1530.. Had a verdict 2 hours later...... Guilty ........
He is in Jail..... the sentencing hearing will happen in about six weeks...... It won't be pretty.
Last time he was awarded.... 100 years with 50 yrs suspended. Must do 25 years before parole is possible.

Newspaper story..........
For the second time, a jury found David Weisbarth guilty of molesting a 5-year-old girl at his home in late 2012.
Weisbarth's first trial in Cascade County District Court produced a conviction in 2014. But in 2016 the Montana Supreme Court ordered he receive a new trial in light of evidence not presented to the first jury.
That new trial wrapped up Wednesday; after three days of testimony, the jury deliberated for two hours before finding him guilty on the same evidence, which was scant.
A sex assault examination performed months after the assault turned up nothing. The only evidence presented at either trial was the girl's testimony in which she described the assault. Prosecutors argued the girl would have difficulty fabricating a sex assault story at that age.
Prosecutors also showed a videoed interview of Weisbarth with a Great Falls police detective in 2013. In the video, Weisbarth denies the allegations, but admits to fantasies of young, "cute" girls. He told a detective he has thoughts of sexual acts with minors, but never acted them out, according to court documents.
Weisbarth's defense counsel keyed in on evidence that the girl suffered from reactive attachment disorder, the same evidence that warranted him a new trial. In the first case, prosecutors had redacted the disorder from medical records requested by the defense before trial.
Public Defender Michael ****z argued the girl was "flawed," or detached from reality, a temporary and occasional symptom of the disorder, according to her medical records and noted in the Supreme Court decision. ****z argued she created the story through leading questions by detectives who had crucified Weisbarth before his day in court.
But deputy county attorney Jennifer Quick noted the girl, 11 years old now, had been consistent in her story, which she also told a jury in open court in 2014.
Weisbarth's family wept in the courtroom as he was escorted out in handcuffs after the verdict was read aloud.
In 2014, Weisbarth was sentenced to 100 years in Montana State Prison with 50 suspended, and no eligibility for parole in the first 25 years.
His new sentencing has not yet been set. He will first undergo a psychosexual evaluation to determine his likeliness to re-offend.

Good morning Guys!
Great pics Jim! It looks like you had a wonderful time. I'm so excited for you all!
Doug keep on making the perfume...we thank you for all your hard work.
Roy...I can't put into words how I feel. I'm happy that a jury has found him guilty again. I'm pissed off Theresa had to relive it again, but I don't know all the facts as to why the Supreme Court decided a new trial was warranted. I hope they feel justified that they made Theresa relive her nightmare again so they can feel like a pedofile was treated fairly. I hope the prison justice system conducts a fair and expedient trial of their own. Tell Theresa she is brave and we are very proud of her courage
New saw and dado blade arrived yesterday. I got started, but had to leave early for an athletic code meeting at the high school. Got home and had a case of the F@#$ its (it was 8 pm). Took the rest of the night off. I'll try and get it set-back up for a pic tonight. Stay tuned.

Thanks folks. We did have a good time. We'll be going back shortly, but for the most part it will be a gram and gramps trip only. Well, 3 dogs and 2 cats as well....have a couple of shorter camping and boating trips and one trip to see the "Navy Brat" and grandkids in San Diego to get to first.
Roy, great news. May the healing not have any further interruptions.

I went home and took a longer lunch. Finished setting up the saw. First the old set-up:
It's a 29 year old Makita 8 1/4" contractor's saw. Other than not having the power to run a dato, it's still a great saw. I was making the 3/8 x 2" notch in the siding with two passes down the saw. The 3/4" notch with the router on the side of the table saw. It worked well, but wasn't ideal. It dang neared burned up a router blade in 10 passes. The saw passes were fine, just taking forever and no consistency.
Now here is the new set-up. It's a Dewalt DWE 7491RS 10" jobsite table saw.
Redid the outfeed table. It was bowing and was just not put together well by me. Laziness was the culpret.
Trying to be safe. The fence extension is a simple to make and is clamped onto the standard fence. So much better consistent cuts with it.
The dato is a Dewalt 8" set that will go up to 3/4" wide to make the top dato. Bottom dato is 3/8" x 2"
SERIOUS plug for these Rockwell stands. They tilt, clamp, adjust up and down as well as pivot. I have two of them and should by 2 more. I love them.

Been there....done that....even have the T-Shirt........
The first case was thrown out due to a incomplete medical record of Theresa given to the defense....... Of course, what was missing had nothing to do with the trial. Wasn't used in the new trial......
So, the bleeding heart liberal Montana supreme court wasted $100K ........and put a bunch of people through a bunch of crap.......
That is FUNNY...........

The defense attorney's should pay for the new trial completely or go to jail for not using the so called evidence in the new trial. That's BS!!!

No fires please, good luck out there Roy,
have a great Friday you bunch of deplorables, keep on truckin'
life is good here at the camp ground, I helped the girls in the Mallard trailer,
it was never winterized so I had to replace the water heater tank,
a few other connectors & I had to trace/search for a water leak under the trailer,
so I had to open up the camoplast & pull out wet insulation, fix the leak,
she was happy to pay me instead of the rv crooks
