Roy, at least things are going to be green for a while, huh? Everything was getting crunchy around my place, but as is typical it seems, we go from no rain to all of it at once. We have gotten over 6" of rain at my place since the Monday, with most of it falling yesterday evening. So now it is no longer crunchy. It is all under water.

Darren, I think I would invest in a shorty wet suit to extend my watercraft time if the water stays that cool during the summer.

Eric, great pics! Enjoy the time away.

All is well at the perfume factory. I hope it stays that way at least through tonight and tomorrow night. Then it's 14 days off for me, and a vacation with friends thrown in for good measure!

Well, there you go! Years ago I had a Wave Runner, and the guys that I rode with enjoyed riding in winter as well. Of course, winter here is nothing like it is there, but the water and air temps get a little chilly for putzing around on a PWC, so I bought a thin wetsuit and joined in the fun.

The time off will be nice, but I am really looking forward to the trip to Mammoth Cave. I do wish more of our group could make it though.

Howdy gang!!

Looking forward to seeing some pics of the Mammoth Cave get together. Limited to short trips during the summer and usually take the grandsons. Hot..humid and rainy over here too Doug!! Glad I got my walking and then mowing done this morning.

Don, my yard and pasture are under water. Since we hadn't gotten any significant rain until a couple of days ago, there really wasn't much to mow. It is amazing how fast this stuff grows as soon as it rains. I need to turn my horses out into the yard to graze on the grasas, since there's no way a mower will work. All of it will have to wait until I get back from Mammoth though. I'm sure by then, it will take two passes with the mower to get it looking good. BTW: I think you could make Mammoth easily in one day.

I ran the miles and got 668 mi. from my house. Too much for this old guy in one day!! The rain over here came in squalls...rained then the sun came out. 2 hrs later more rain and then more sun...dried out pretty quickly so I cut mine yesterday while I had the chance. Loading up today for our short trip tomorrow...only a hundred miles.

Good morning, crew!! Again, all in well in sunny AZ! Not much happening in these parts right now, especislly with the current “heat wave”; supposed to hit 107 today.
The wife’s glasses broke the other evening, so we went into the big city (Vegas) and ordered her some new ones yesterday. Now, she has an appoinment in Kingman this AM, so we are headed in there and will get a good supply of groceries while there Then I shouldn’t need to go to town again for another 2-3 months!!! Yippee.........I hate towns!!!!
And I did like Swamp Don.......checked the mileage to Mammoth..............just over 1800 for me.........still can’t make it work. 😩😩
All have a great rest of the day. Later.

Happy Thursday everyone!

I would have liked to go to the G2G in Mammoth as well, but it's Boy Scout Summer Camp next week. Trying something different this year. I'm going up Sunday to get the Troop situated. I'll stay the night and head out in the morning. I'll go up again Wednesday and again on Saturday to help them home. New SM is taking baby steps. He's pretty soft as far as leadership, I'm hoping he can handle the week or I'll go up and finish up. Kind of frustrating.

Fish creek pond campground, very beautiful place. About 300 sites around the lake, a 5mile loop. Trying to get pics to go, not very good signal here.......

I missed the final list / date but pretty sure it interfered with our trip to Romania. We leave on July 3.
Summers are just to busy, we were in NY for 5 days 2 weeks ago, have our company summer party this weekend then we are gone for all of July!
Can't wait for August ... hopefully we can stay home for a month or 2....

Have fun at the GTG!!
