This is prolly a 1 page thread at most
Thanks Andre My local dealer wants retail for parts. So $750, says he can have it in a day. Everybody online says the part is back ordered, but I see lots of $550-$570 prices online. I wanted to use my rewards points to pay for it.
I figured as long as I'm pulling brake drums to fix the brake problem, I might as well get after the TPMS . And my bionic knees are starting to feel good enough that I can get up and down off the floor while I work on that project. You still won't see me kneeling on the ground though.
Since I got my drivers license in 1968. fellow students were buying used cars like that 64 Falcon. There were a few with I guess the 260ci V8 that got jacked up, wheels and glass packs
Can you imagine the weight on that Thunderbird with a camper sitting on the truck.

Once again, we are on the same page. I've done some homework on them and I think it will be the best solution for me, A bit over 3K delivered for a 40' "cargo worthy" container, a little less for a worn out "wind and water tight". Reasonably secure and hard to break in to, instant storage solution. I need to keep things down there, but security is always a concern when nobody is around. Downside is they are ugly as sin, but perhaps a little creative painting and decoration can fix that. Maybe an art student to paint a mural or something?

Morning all.
Gerry, that first pic with a camper would give the RV weight police plenty of ulcers in today crowds...
Eric, we use a cargo container at the gun club to keep a lot of our supplies and tools in. We have a couple of high security pad locks on the doors and we keep a couple of game camera's trained on it. We have shelves built that run full length down one side of it and even have a little wood shop and work bench built on the other side.
It's painted to blend into the surrounding terrain. Not particularly camouflaged but that was kind of the end result.

So one year, before deer season I put out several game cameras, with one pretty close to this main game trail. Well, a few days later I went out to check the cameras and the one close to the trail was gone! A couple days later I was visiting with the Sheriff about it and he kind of blamed all the newcomers to the county. I just responded “More like one of my neighbors had his mug shot on my camera, and knew I would kick his *** for being in my posted pasture”!
The con-ex boxes make for great storage. I have one on my adjacent lot where I keep extra stuff I don’t always use. When I bought it the first thing I did was to get some high quality paint and paint it all white to repel as much AZ sun as possible, and it is not just an eyesore that way neither.
It look decent sitting there.

We have the game cameras in bear boxes padlocked to trees. Fortunately the club nor I personally have every lost a camera. We did have some folks try to break into our club house and the camera's got pictures of them. Only time in the 100 year history of the club we had any type of problem. When we discovered that we did have photo's and showed them to the Sheriff's Deputy, he recognized the people and had them in custody within two hours. Otherwise, the only thing our camera's get pictures of are deer, cats and club members coming and going.
Swamp Don, get all that rain over with! We're coming out there on the 23rd of next month to Barataria. Finally getting a chance to go back. Last year was torpedoed by all the BS with the lockdown. Looking forward to fishing there again. If it isn't too far come and have a beer or two with us at Joe's Landing.
Have a great weekend guys!!
Oldest grandson is getting off the ship in Norway and heading home. He should be in late Sunday...I told him its better then being stuck in the Suez canal!!
Oldest daughter just finished her 5th chemo treatment and about 15 more to go. She wants to take a boat ride tomorrow so son in law and I will take her. Weather is supposed to be in the mid 70's and sunny but you never know around here!!
