Howdy guys! Don. I agree entirely about the Pres. candidates!
Been a busy morning here. Got to work from PT to full time job and was just getting out of shower when dispatched to a cardiac arrest. Arrived to find son-in-law doing letter perfect CPR. Patient had been exercising and collapsed. Appeared as a very fit Hispanic/American male. Switched patient to Lucas2 device(autonated CPR machine) and loaded up patient. Had to shock him 4 times enroute to ER to reboot his heart. Got all the meds and airways in place and he had a return of pulses. Then began breathing on his own. He went into arrest again and we were able to restart his heart once more. Delivered him to the ER with a pulse and good airway. He is in the cath lab as we speak trying to unclog the artery that put him into cardiac arrest. He has a shot if they can get it opened. May even have to try open heart if they can't. Found the SIL in the ED family waiting room and shook his hand and told him that his FIL only had a shot at living because of him. He broke down. He learned CPR in the ARMY. His FIL was wearing the grey ARMY T-shirt he had given him. Prayers for this family and the patient.

On a side note, the darned weather guys screwed up again. Supposed to be sunny and warm today. Have had to use the wipers on high 3 times this morning due to heavy rain. Anyway, it's not cold!

Have a good day guys!

That's great news about the patient you helped and another fine example of why more people should learn proper technique for CPR!
The sunshine is making you turn your wipers on high? Must be REALLY sunny!

Good job Monty......

Good day today.........Happy dance time.....

Fixed the electrical problems in the Raptor 5th wheel. Turned out to be a number of bad connections at the crimp of solderless connectors......I just built a new harness and replace the problem riddled harness. This was in the control panel that has many switches.

Had to replace the external speakers too.

I agree with the Political candidates, used to be I had a hard time choosing because I like more than one. Now it's the lesser of two evils...

Market is coming alive, even houses are moving up here. I was hoping the oil downturn was going to cause a market downturn... But it hasn't, at least not yet.

Have a good night everyone and a good easter.

Roy - My Dad always told me I should have a good bed and pair of shoes. I hope the new bed works out for you.

Grace. And Pass the potatoes...

BTW - Monty - That was a great story of how learning CPR can save someone's life and and as your story pointed out it usually it saves the life of a loved one.
