Happy T-Giving to those south of the border.
Decided that with the US markets closed today I'd do an oil/filter change and fuel filters so the truck is ready to go away. Still 3,000km until the next sched change for oil. This is the first change I've done myself on this truck since the FMPP ran out in June.
Watched Epic's video for the fuel filters and it was an easy job.
I should have watched a video for the oil change. Then I would have known that (A) the drain plug is 120deg turn, not threaded, and (B) that the oil filter still drains a lot after the pan is empty. Luckily my driveway is limestone screenings so after 2.5g went in the drain pan and the rest on the driveway I just had to shovel up a bag full of driveway.
Took 3.5usg of T6 to have it reading full after a startup and drain down. I always pre-fill filters too.

It's Turkey Day in the USA
Enjoy your Food, Enjoy your Fun
And Remember Ford's are still #1.

Nice joke Brett - as always.
I remember that Roy... At least you take it in stride...And I know I am not the only one with bad luck at times.
Players Steve - Do you trade the markets or something? Only asking since you mentioned that since the US Markets were closed...
Gerry - Are you eating Turkey today too?

Well, I tried something a little different today! We jst bought a 3 lb turkey breast because it was just going to be Marlene and I, no company. So this morning I fired up the smoker and cooked it in some hickory smoke. I just seasoned it with some salt and pepper, and a little powdwered garlic....then put t on smoke until it reached an internal temperature of 170! 😀😀😀😀 Turned out delicious and nice n juicy!
Dont eat too much now guys!
