This is prolly a 1 page thread at most
Afternoon folks, well I started installing the Diesel Site coolant filter, dropped a brass plug while attempting to install it in the aluminum temperature sensor pipe....... I went right past the wad of shop rags I had stuffed below it for that reason, and is now in the nether world somewhere (valley) Oh well, I'll run to town and get a replacement later. If any of y'all are planning to install on of these, get a 19MM deep socket to remove the stock temp sensor, makes life alot easier, the nut on top of the aluminium pipe (from the kit) is 1 1/4". Once I get a new plug, shouldn't take maybe a half hour or so.

You'll find the brass plug as soon as you get back from town.......

Well, went to town, but brought the boss lady, just got back. I'll work on the truck tomorrow, maybe!
I purchased the intercooler upgrade just to prevent the stock pipe from rupturing, while not a common issue, it does happen. And a little more eye candy under the hood! I purchased the OEM replacement kit, you can use it if the truck remains stock without throwing a code, even though mine is deleted, and I doubt I'll put it back to stock, you never know.
