Hey Tim...thanks. Brought everything we had...didn't crack the top 3 this year at Carlisle but it was an awesome experience and I had a blast. Proud of how the truck came together and it definitely belonged alongside its competition.

I went to school at both this show and Bloomsburg. I know where the major weaknesses are - mostly in the interior and under the hood - and I'll be working on those through the winter to come back stronger next year. I did take home FTE's "Member's Choice" again, which is special to me so with that and the memories and fun had, I definitely did not come home empty handed.

I must have had my Ford goggles on, I don't recall seeing anything else... well, except for my ugly chevy rental car.

I was not able to get around that much on Saturday in the show field, but I was parked in a lineup of really great looking Fords, across from a bunch of Chevy low-riders. I respect the effort, but nothing really blew my mind per se. I didn't get to see much else on the show field.

I heard there were some low rider Chevies across from the lifted Fords. That could have been fun!
Glad you learned some things Bill, it will be a long winter but worth it! Be sure to keep your thread up to date!

And yes, I do NOT understand the passion to drag bumpers on the ground. Annoying. But I will say this - there were some really nice looking lowered trucks in that Chevy lineup and I respect the effort to put it together, despite it not being my tastes.

I am hoping to be able to make it next year. This year it was a little tough with my leg issues that are slowly getting taken care of and with it being my dad's 90th b-day yesterday. We had a small party for him at the nursing home with about 30 friends and family. He was very suprised to see everyone there.
